This year's winter was, at least in Central Europe, somewhat at odds with the forecasts of all climate alarmists. It's like going back to the seventies and eighties of the 20th century. Stable and long-term temperatures below freezing prevailed. Lots of snow fell even in the lowlands. This allowed pho-tographers to take exemplary images of the winter landscape and try out compositions with snow, ice and dark winter sky. Let's hope that beautiful winters will come in the forthcoming years.
Letošní zima byla, alespoň ve Střední Evropě, tak trochu v rozporu s prognózami všech klima alarmistů. Jako bychom se vrátili do sedmdesátých a osmdesátých let 20. století. Panovaly stabilní a dlouhodobé teploty pod bodem mrazu. Napadly spousty sněhu i v nížinách. Fotografům to umožnilo pořídit si ukázkové snímky zimní krajiny a zkoušet kompozice se sněhem, ledem a temnou zimní oblohou. Doufejme, že krásné zimy budou v příštích rocích.
