When I was in Virginia, we stopped at the Historic Tredegar, which is a pretty cool Civil War Museum. They had a bunch of really cool things on the inside, like different displays of cannons, munitions, and even some of the old tools that the hospitals used for the injured soldiers.
But what I thought was really cool was the outside of the building itself. It is an old industrial building where the majority of the Confederate's artillery was made. This factory also made some of the first iron plating that was used on the Confederate warships.
It is crazy to me that there are places here in the US where munitions and stuff was made that was used to kill other Americans. War sucks. Hopefully one day we can live in a world where people can get along. The people of the world just want to live in peace, but the governments are the ones that turn humans against each other.

Visiting such historical places makes me happy. I feel like I am witnessing history. It is very nice that the exterior of the building has been preserved so well and has survived to the present day. Nowadays, historical heritage is not treated very well in my country.
If people in government stop thinking about making themselves rich, the whole world can live in peace. Wars are not good for anyone. Only innocent people die.
Governments only seem to think about how they can make themselves richer at the expense of everyone else. It is pretty sad.
They need to change this attitude. If they don't, world peace will be just a dream.
It will always be a dream. World peace doesn't make anyone in govt money.
I believe that one day, not soon, but someday in the future, all countries will be led by good leaders who support world peace.
Wow, such a cool building. Love the industrial feel of it. Stunning captures @derangedvisions

Yes, stunning to see. Love those buildings.
nothing ever changes. and the world becomes worse and worse... [even?] with all the progress of technologies.
I love that they preserved the building the way it is made of. I'm also a fan of historical places. Thanks for sharing! Great shots as always. :)

It will certainly be hard if we repeat missteps from our past. I hope we can get our shit together enough to really start exploring space 🚀
Hopefully one day the world won’t be such a hateful place
Quite a beautiful building I must say. With a lot of infrastructure facilities and the view is really captivating
Ya, I thought it was really cool. I liked the rust spots and the broken areas. Gave it a spooky look.
