It's goin down
This next few weeks are going to be pretty awesome in the grow tent. Two of the quad grapes are beginning to flower and all the others are showing signs of flower as well.
The power finally came back on and it was just in time too. I had to move all my plants out of the tent and put them near a window where they could get a little bit of light. The house was starting to heat up as well because it is supposed to be near 105 to 107 degrees later today.
Luckily the house didn't get too hot before the power came back on because I have been trying to keep the plants in a bit of a cooler setting due to the bugs. I have read that the bugs reproduce a lot faster in the heat, so I have tried to keep the grow room cooler and I have added a larger fan to blow across the plants. Hopefully this helps to keep the bugs down to a minimum. I am sure that the five or six bugs I have seen on the plants isn't too big of a deal, but I want to keep them from getting out of control.
I am really liking the color and shape that the quad grape strain has. I think there will be some darker purples coming through over the next few weeks. The leaves on these plants are a lot thinner than some of my previous grows, so it is cool to see some variety in the strains I have been growing. I would like to grow another round of critical purple in the future as well. Hopefully there will be more colors coming in with that if I do it again. I think I cut too much of my leaves on my previous grows, and that kept the plants from really showing their true features.
This has been a huge learning experience for me as a grower and I am grateful that I began this journey back in December. I have learned so much about cannabis during that time and I have really begun to appreciate it a lot more. Plus I have so much weed that I don't ever need to buy any, so that is a huge plus.
I am probably going to be at least doubling how much weed I have once I begin harvesting these as well. They are supposed to create some monster buds. It would be crazy to get over a pound from all these plants. We will see in about 7 weeks or so. I have a feeling things are going to get crazy over the next few weeks.
Holy shit that is some hot ass weather! Good thing the power came back on, heat stress sets in quick.

She is beautiful. I do not see she is ill (from the bugs you told). Her flowering time should be longer, becouse she have a """"Sativa"""" Genetics. How long you would let get her in the flowering time?

I've gotten most of the bugs under control. There are a few stragglers here and there, but it isn't bad now. As far as how long the flower time is, it is usually about 7-9 weeks, but these are autos, so it may be closer to 7 weeks since they have a specific lifetime. I keep a close eye on the trichomes in the last days of flower so I can get a defender balance in the colors of my trichomes before I harvest them.
