Children carnival day
The Carnival season starts on the Thursday and runs to next Wednesday. All the adults party the first days and have a released Sunday before “Rosenmontag” will hit them hard again.
So on Sunday, it’s kids carnival and here we had a round 110 groups walking the streets of the city of Aachen.

Horses are the first
Traditionally, there are some horse riders who are going first at street carnival section.
They open the big celebration with more than 100 different groups walking in the streets.
All kind of messages
During the kids carnival, you mainly see all the different carnival groups celebrating themselves with their trucks, with their typical music, and with all the colors there are wearing.
Groups - so colorful
All the different groups are all playing different sounds, different music and have their own special Carnival songs.
Beeing a metal fan, I end up with “bleeding” ears, as I don’t like the songs but the rhythm. Drums, deep bass and clear voices.
How I survive it
Yeah, do you need some good friends, some cold beers and the right stuff around you because the days in February it could be quite cold.

My costume still needs a name and I love to see with which creative idea for that “beer dude” you can help

Someone tried to feed me with a Bitburger but luckily I still had some Leffe in my hand - I gave the bit away to someone who can stand this stuff
