A walk through the city of Gallo Morón.
The morning wakes up in the Arache,
with a sun that shines the pure lime,
while the wind, in its slight swing,
He tells tall legends.
I climb the slope that leads to the Castle,
sentinel of stone and time,
where the horizon surrenders to your feet
of those who seek peace in thought.
In the Plaza de la Victoria the soul beats,
between steps that cross the cobblestones,
and the echo of a distant guitar

where the Rooster watches over his estate,
without feathers, yes, but with the rudeness
of one who guards the honor of his city.

Se despierta la mañana en el Arache,
con un sol que saca brillo a la cal pura,
mientras el viento, en su leve vaivén,
va contando leyendas de altura.
Subo la cuesta que lleva al Castillo,
centinela de piedra y de tiempo,
donde el horizonte se rinde a los pies
de quien busca paz en el pensamiento.
En la Plaza de la Victoria late el alma,
entre pasos que cruzan el empedrado,
y el eco de una guitarra lejana
recuerda que el flamenco aquí se ha quedado.
Pero es allí, erguido y desafiante,
donde el Gallo vigila su heredad,
sin plumas, sí, pero con el desplante
de quien guarda el honor de su ciudad.
"No dejaré que te rías de mi gente",
parece gritar al viento su figura,
recordando que en Morón se es valiente
y la palabra empeñada es la que dura.
Bajo la sombra de San Miguel,
termina el paseo de luz y de arcilla,
con el sabor del aceite en la piel
y el corazón puesto en esta maravilla.
