Hi, will join. Thanks :)

Wow you have some polypore, turkeytail, ink caps, mycena, a strange hexagonal polypore, reishi, white oysters and I'm not sure what the third one down is... Pretty cool.

Hiho. Thanks now I have some idea about its names :)

Many of these are actually edible. The oysters, the turkeytail (as a tea) the reishi (as a medicinal). Technically the ink caps are edible as well but they don't taste that great. The top polypore and the bottom hexagonal polypore are too woody to eat but they can be used to start camp fires when they are dry.

Edible :) rainy season starts here by june. If quarantine is lifted by that time will try to look for fungi to shoot :)

ink caps,

I am not sure thats 'ink caps' -- as it didnt desintegrate into that black dirt, maybe just another one from Coprinuses?
otherwise... I knew you would make accents better then me!

:)

@digitalis, and where are you from?

@sketch.and.jam, I found today same hairy turkey tail too! very wooden & crusty, from last autumn. happily i was borrowing macro lens with me.

Hi, I am from the Philippines. :) just lucky I live near a cementary park where I shoot most of my photo.

Regarding 'ink caps' I might have a photo. Will post soon.

hey, I already found that from your profile, and started following you. you produce an amazing, incredible macros and birding tele's (much better than I do, hehe). are you really amateur?
(wink-wink goes here)
the 'ink caps', or Coprinus, are wide spread around the world (and very often can be seen at the city lawns), I was shooting them 3 times. but they are so photo-friendly! do post yours, please. NB: Friday traditionally is a day for #fungifriday fun challenge by @ewkaw ... but feel free to post any day you like :P

Haha Qwerrie... he only says he is an amateur. Digitalis has been a macro master for years :)

hehe. I had suspicions ;)
his photography impress! well, after all, 'pro' is somebody who is getting money for doing the job, unlike an amateur, this criteria is quite clear. if he is not being payed, then, he is not pro. :P
