Hello friends of #PhotographyLovers ! Today I want to share a series of photos a little different from previous posts, in this case it is about night photography where some are long exposure and others not so much. They are photos of the city in urban style and always looking for different perspectives to what I usually see.
Hola amigos de #PhotographyLovers ! Hoy quiero compartir una serie de fotos un tanto distintas a los post anteriores, en este caso se trata de fotografías nocturnas en dónde algunas son de larga exposición y otras no tanto. Se tratan de fotos de la ciudad al estilo urbano y buscando obtener siempre perspectivas diferentes a lo que usualmente veo.
This type of photography is all about having the floor as foreground and trying to blur the background, but I always look for the background to have something attractive, a good building, a gas station, an excellent architecture or a nice landscape where both parts of the image can be appreciated, even when blurred.
Este tipo de fotografías se trata de tener como primer plano el piso realmente y buscar desenfocar el fondo pero siempre busco que el fondo tenga algo atractivo, un buen edificio, una estación de servicio, una excelente arquitectura o un lindo paisaje donde puedan apreciarse ambas partes de la imagen, aún estando desenfocado.
Basically I like to look for a suitable composition for this type of photographs and one of these conditions I find in train stations, subways, billboards and anything that has a lot of lighting where that light is reflected on the floor as well and that is where I proceed to look for the best perspective.
In the case of the photos shown here I get that composition and this last photo in particular is about a subway station in Buenos Aires called Constitución. You can clearly appreciate the illumination of the posters.
Básicamente me gusta buscar una composición adecuada para este tipo de fotografías y una de estas condiciones las encuentro en las estaciones de trenes, subterráneo, carteles y lo que sea que tenga mucha iluminación en dónde esa luz se refleje en el piso también y es allí donde procedo a buscar la mejor perspectiva.
En el caso de las fotos mostradas conseguir esa composición y ésta última foto en especial se trata de una estación del subterráneo de Buenos Aires llamada Constitución. Claramente se puede apreciar la iluminación de los carteles.
For this case it is similar... The photo was taken near my place of work in the early hours of the morning and it is a gas station where the same lighting of the establishment together with the natural night light and the moon did its job by itself. It seems to me that my job here was just to make a "click".
Para este caso es similar... La foto fue tomada cerca de mi lugar de trabajo en horas de la madrugada y se trata de una estación de servicio en dónde la misma iluminación del establecimiento en conjunto con la luz natural nocturna y la luna hicieron su trabajo por si mismo. Me parece que mi trabajo acá fue solo hacer un "click.
And finally I leave you a test sample where to go out to take pictures to test my camera at that moment. Urban photos where I cared about the long exposure, the lighting it generated and everything that goes with it.
As well as a photo of the icon of the city, the Obelisk of Buenos Aires taken from a panoramic point in its surroundings that unfortunately is no longer available to the public by the known measures of distancing.
Y por último les dejo una muestra de prueba dónde salir a tomar fotos para probar mi cámara en ese momento. Fotos urbanas en dónde me importaba el tema de larga exposición, la iluminación que generaba y todo lo que ello conlleva.
Así como también una foto del ícono de la ciudad, el Obelisco de Buenos Aires tomada desde un punto panorámico en sus alrededores que lamentablemente ya no está disponible al público por las conocidas medidas de distanciamiento.
