Selected Works: Personal Photography

in Photography Lovers3 years ago

Some of my favorite photos I've taken over the course of probably 7 or 8 years now. I bought a Sony Xperia Z3 Android phone specifically for it's camera quality and the bottom half of this post is from that camera.
I don't own a real DSLR, but try to get similar results with high-end phone cameras.

Gear:
Sony Xperia Z3
Software:
Pro-Shot

Paid app for Android/iOS that gives you the advanced DSLR features of your phone's camera. You can adjust focus, ISO, shutter etc, but it also allows you to shoot in RAW and JPEG if your camera allows it.

Shotwell

RAW developer & photo manager with basic editing features. I mostly use this for preview developing and organizing/drafting shots, but sometimes edit photos in it as well.

Darktable

Comprehensive RAW developer/editor. Designed as an open-source alternative to Adobe Lightroom.

Shot with:

Google(HTC) Pixel XL @ 16 megapixels RAW format using ProShot

Carpenter Bee

Through an AMIR 0.6x Macro Wide Angle Lens (for phone)
RAW developed with Darktable & Shotwell.

Awesome photos.
Especially if you consider they are made with smartphone.
