Hello photography enthusiasts. Walking through the historic center of Havana is always an interesting experience, full of color and contrasts. Its architecture and urban environment feel the weight of years and neglect, faithful companion for a long time. Even so, I have been passionate about walking its streets ever since I have lived in this city.
The details of its facades, many broken and battered, others not so much, the people of the area, the street vendors, the almendrones and bicycle cabs. The graffiti, most of which are very well done works of art. The eternal potholes and cracks in the streets, which are now part of the city's heritage. The old wooden doors of the buildings, as we say here to most of the carpentry made in the first half of the last century, weathered by time and enduring in this endurance race that is life.
And of course, its people, almost always cheerful and carefree. Some of these scenes I want to share with you today, I hope you find them as interesting as I did. See you!

Hola apasionados de la fotografía. Caminar por el casco histórico de La Habana siempre es una experiencia interesante, llena de color y contrastes. Su arquitectura y su entorno urbano se sienten el peso de los años y del descuido, acompañante fiel desde hace ya mucho tiempo. Aún así andar sus calles me apasiona desde que vivo en esta ciudad. Los detalles de sus fachadas, muchas rotas y maltrechas, otras no tanto, la gente de la zona, los vendedores ambulantes, los almendrones y bicitaxis. Los grafitis que en su mayoría son obras de arte muy bien realizadas. Los eternos baches y grietas en las calles, que ya son patrimonio de la ciudad. Las antiguas puertas de madera buena de los edificios, como decimos aquí a la mayoría de la carpintería hecha en la primera mitad del pasado siglo, curtidas por el tiempo y aguantando en esta carrera de resistencia que es la vida. Y por supuesto, su gente, casi siempre alegre y desenfadada. Algunas de estas escenas quiero compartir hoy con ustedes, espero les resulte interesante como me sucedió a mi. ¡Nos vemos!
