Images that are nothing more than the living reality of everyday life, without cosmetics or filters. Any person, local or visitor who walks the streets of Havana will know what I'm talking about. Scenes that are harsh and welcoming at the same time, raw and marvelous. It is an exceptional experience, in every aspect. Despite the exponential crisis of the last 5 or 6 years, you can still breathe the cheerful, cozy and jaranero atmosphere of the city. An image taken on the same street 15 or 20 years ago is practically the same as one taken recently. That's for sure.
You can imagine how many years it has been since there has been any decent construction or maintenance in the city. Except for the new newly built super ghost hotels that seem to save a lot of electricity, you can tell in the evenings by their 3 or 4 lit rooms. Any Cuban who has been out of the country for 20 years and returns will see the city as he left it, well no, a little more destroyed and less hygienic. What is not missing in this city is the Regueton music at very high decibels, both in houses and on electric motorcycles, it has been the fashion for some time, so much joy that does not respect others. Hola amantes de la fotografía. Un placer volver a compartir en esta maravillosa comunidad una sesión de fotografía callejera de la ciudad donde vivo. Imágenes que no son más que la viva realidad del día a día, sin cosméticos ni filtros. Cualquier persona, local o visitante que camine por las calles de La Habana sabrá de que hablo. Escenas duras y acogedoras al mismo tiempo, crudas y maravillosas. Es una vivencia excepcional, en todos los aspectos. A pesar de la crisis exponencial de los últimos 5 o 6 años todavía se respira el ambiente alegre, acogedor y jaranero de la ciudad. Una imagen tomada en la misma calle hace 15 o 20 años es prácticamente igual a una tomada recientemente. Eso dalo por seguro. Se pueden imaginar cuántos años hace que no se construye o se hacen mantenimientos decentes en la ciudad. Excepto por los nuevos super hoteles fantasmas recién construídos, en los que parece que se ahorra un montón de electricidad, se nota en las noches por sus 3 o 4 habitaciones encendidas. Algún cubano que haya estado fuera del país 20 años y regrese verá la ciudad como mismo la dejó, bueno no, un poco más destruida y menos higiénica. Lo que si no falta en esta ciudad es la música Reguetón a altísimos decibeles, tanto en casas como en motocicletas eléctricas, es la moda desde hace un tiempo, tanta alegría que no respeta a los demás.
