We revisited Clumber Park, a country park in Nottinghamshire. Starting off at the gothic looking church, we made our way round the lake, which is about three and a half miles long.
A few years ago, the park's historic ornamental bridge was vandalised. Now that it has all been repaired, they have decided not to reopen it to cars, and only cyclists and pedestrians will be allowed over the bridge.
I think it will be a lot safer and quieter without vehicles going past and will be better for the wildlife.
We went past the lovely waterfall over the River Poulter.
There's quite a few squirrels in the park that are always great to watch.
The Greek Garden Temple has been around since 1765 and was built for the Duke of Newcastle.
We had a welcome drink at the end of our walk.

Thank you @castleberry. It's a good place whatever season it is.
It sure looked it! Glad y'all got to get out and have a nice walk.
It's like a go back in time kind of walk with some wild life sighting until .... the snack and drinks. 😎
Ha ha. I don't walk unless there's a coffee at the end. 😁
The environment seems so calming, must be really nice to take a walk there :) and the squirrels and the swans look so lovely
