BLOG 13: Sunrise and Sunset: A Reminder of Life's Endless Beginnings and Endings

Each day begins and ends with one of nature's most magnificent and eternal spectacles: sunrise and sunset. Soft shades of pink, orange, and gold slowly light up the sky as the sunrise, which is frequently a calm and serene moment, heralds the start of a new day. It stands for rebirth, hope, and the limitless potential of the future. The sunset, on the other hand, reminds us of the beauty in endings with its blazing hues and peaceful fading light. It encourages reflection, tranquility, and thankfulness for the day that has gone by. Collectively, these instances serve as a reminder of the cyclical nature of time, the beauty of change, and the soothing influence of the rhythms of nature. whether it is shared with others or enjoyed alone.

In this blog, I want to share my reflections on every sunrise and sunset I capture with my eyes and camera. These moments serve as a reminder to ourselves that every day is a brand new day, whether it goes well or not.

This photo was taken a year ago when I visited Tajao. My boyfriend took this photo, not with a DSLR camera, but with my phone. When I saw it in my gallery, something sank into my mind: the board exam, as last year, was a bit heavy for me. I believe that a feeling of peace permeates the world as the sun sets over the huge, infinite sea. The calm waves that appear to move in time with diminishing light reflect the orange hues that decorate the sky. I get a sense of the continuous flow of life by the calming melody created by the sound of the waves breaking against the shore. More than just a stunning sight, a sunset by the sea is an opportunity to stop, take a deep breath, and consider how beautiful the world is. It serves as a reminder that there is always beauty in letting go and enjoying the evening's silence, regardless of what the day has delivered. Letting go of the part if ever I fail in every challenge, there is always a lesson behind it and that lesson I consider as my growth.

Every time I head home after my shift, I am always amazed by the colors of the sunrise. Since my shift during this time is from 8:00 PM to 5:00 AM, the sunrise always happens around 5:30 AM. Wow! The beauty at its finest. Pink sunrise is a soft reminder that beauty frequently arises in the most quiet moments. It seems as though the world is awakening in peaceful calm as the first light of the day paints the sky in gentle shades of pink. Across the horizon, the serene hues beckon promise and new beginnings. In addition to being aesthetically pleasing, a pink sunrise offers an opportunity to stop, take a deep breath, and consider the countless opportunities that lie ahead. It serves as a reminder that there is always something lovely waiting to happen, even in the silence of the morning. It was a relief that every after stressful shift as a call center agent before, when you headed home and a beautiful sunrise was always waiting for you.

This photo was taken a few months ago and it shows the crescent moon. I seldom see a crescent moon because sometimes I don’t notice it. However, I appreciate how God guided me to look at the sky, and that's when I saw the crescent moon. With its graceful curve, the crescent moon serves as a reminder that beauty can emerge even during times of uncertainty or transition. It is a metaphor for growth, a soft reminder that we are constantly changing, transforming from dark to light, and that even the tiniest flicker of light can lead us through the night. The crescent moon encourages us to stop, think, and value life's small, peaceful moments. You know, everytime I see a crescent moon, I used to make a wish because I believe a crescent moon will always give a hint of life that you need to discover.

As the sun rises and sets, it serves as a reminder to keep going. We encounter many circumstances every day, but they are not obstacles to ending our lives. Life may be hard to live, hard to understand, and, most importantly, hard to accept. However, everything will fall into place because all you need to do is believe in yourself, trust in your capabilities, and, of course, believe in Him. Life is a never-ending cycle of difficulties and fresh starts. If the sun is set, it serves as a reminder that even in the most difficult times, it is beautiful to let go and have faith that tomorrow will bring better news. And when the sun rises, it gives us hope by serving as a reminder that each day is a new beginning with endless possibilities. We can always rise anew with the hope of a better tomorrow, no matter how difficult the night may be. Like the sun, life continues, and we should too. Don't be scared to cry if you're feeling down, overwhelmed, or like you can't handle the weight of the world. It serves as a reminder that you are a person, not a sign of weakness. Sometimes the relief your heart needs to recover and rejuvenate is letting the tears fall. Weeping does not weaken you; rather, it gives you the courage to face your feelings and take the necessary time to recover, think, and get back up. Even stormy days eventually give way to clear skies, after all.

We got this!💪Tap yourself and say "I'm proud of you!"🤗

This is a reassuring post to read

Yes life has it's ups and downs but just like the sun rises and sets, we can know that some seasons are for shining while some others are for us to prepare for the next season of shinning.

Come to think of it, we were taught that the moon absorbs light rays from the sun during the day and shines those rays at night

I think of it as this; in those seasons when the sun is not shining, it gives room for the moon to also shine.
At the end of the day, how well the moon shines is a reflection of how well the sun gave off it's light rays

In relation to us humans, no need to hold too tightly to things we've been freely given by God In our high seasons.
Rather we should be blessings to others

And when others are shining, we should understand that it's their time

🥰🥰🥰

I am proud of myself
