it was a foggy day so i went out for a walk in the park to see if i could get some cool atmospheric shots. once in the park the fog by the water was not as thick as i had hoped so i was planning to take my time and play around with the ISO and shutter speed. but suddenly i noticed a man not far in front of me out walking his dog. the grassy area is quite large and the background was distant enough to give a nice subdued contrast to the man and dog foreground so i decided to focus on them. they kept moving so i followed them and concentrated on composition and just kept the settings on automatic while taking this series.
i liked the muted colors but i edited one to see how it looks in black and white and in some ways i think it's better
i left the man and dog and went on to where some geese were on the grass. actually it was this kind of shot i originally had in mind when i started from home but the geese blend in too much and are almost indiscernible rendering the shot rather bland. i include this last shot just to show how much a strong foreground and a little action can help improve an image in foggy conditions.
Amazing series, the third one is magical 📸👏🏻
