Meanwhile I was trying to figure out a good title for this post, which I knew it would be about a mix of art pieces was thinking what if art exhibitions would be also organized like this. Without having enough data to be sure, I think most of the exhibitions have a well defined topic or theme and artist can submit their work based on the theme. But what if they could just drop what they want, without restrictions? I bet the exhibition would look something like my post :)
Ok, let's get started, let's see what I selected for you today.
Endre Litteczky - Snowy City - oil on canvas
This amazing painting is from the last exhibition I visited. Without knowing where the painter took his inspiration (could be from anywhere by the way), it reminds me of those medieval villages of Italy. We have such villages, cities here too, but not many. There were a couple of painting of similar style in my last post, I liked them a lot and I like this one too. I'm not sure what it is that attracts me, maybe the soft colors, or the scene, but I'd pick this one any blessing day.
Let's continue with Antal Vásárhelyi's amazing graphics, which breaks every rule in art, in my opinion, except for the technical drawing rules. Most likely some of you don't consider this art, but it is and it requires a good amount of skills and ability. As I said in my previous post, none of the artworks had a title, so it's up to you to determine what you see and it's not easy. Last time we had two different opinion about the same work and it was really funny. Here, honestly, I don't know what I am looking at. maybe a ruined house? I have no idea, so you tell me.
Ioan Alexandru Herdelau
This is a mystery for me, but a really nice one. For a reason I can't define, it makes me think it's a ballerina but the painting is more complex. As you see, there are two chairs and two umbrellas and all these objects are connected somehow. The question is how and maybe why. I love this one too. @davideownzall is not going to be happy, but I can't keep my opinion to myself :P
Levente Csaktlós - Between The Stars - 100x100cm, mixed technique, canvas (2024)
Stars are many, and there can be a lot of things between them, but if you look closely, you can see, there are stars in the eyes of the man.
Silvia Hermina Csata - Constructed illusions, magnifying the illusion of protest
The Arhiluzii are the constructions of the mind, the architecture of its thoughts, which want to verify the authenticity of our assumptions and projections. However, a world is falling to pieces - both around us and within us.
These two were exhibited at an exhibition called Protest. I'm not going to sink deep in the meaning, I'm going to just enjoy both by looking at them. On the left, I see a face and I hope you see it too. The right one is amazing. A building built so high up! Love it. Actually I love both, but would only want the right one on my wall. The left one is amazing, but kind of scary to look at it every day.
Béci Vajda - The Locust's Dinner
This, as a photograph, is priceless. Tell me what are the chances to capture such a scene, of be at the right place in the right time? Pretty slim I think and this is why it is so valuable. However, it's creepy too as who likes to see one insect eating the other? I don't, but now I am putting this feeling aside and looking at the photo from photographic perspective.
This is a photo I took last year at an exhibition, but I have no idea who the artist is or what the artwork is called. However, it's a very nice one. Just look at the harmony between the colors, the texture, the materials used. It's fantastic in my opinion. I'll let you tell me what you see here.

I love the snowy landscapes and if it is true that they look like beautiful mediaves constructions, on the other hand in the second one I see a tower of a fortress, one that was punished by the battles as there is a staircase that leads to nowhere, there are some parts missing there.
My favourite painting... the dancer with the chairs and umbrellas on a rainy day. I rather see a woman as if she is painted on the wall and the chairs in front of her, they are waiting for two people, two people in love. The rain inspires me. It is beautiful!
Maybe it's a bit forced, but could be. I'd love to ask the artist as these are drawings or graphics we can't figure out on our own.

My favourite is easily the Silvia Hermina Csata. The pair is simply gorgeous and two sides of the same coin. One reflecting the inner self destroying and the other one showing the world slowly decaying. Love it!
