There's a formatting option, that you can use, for the quoted text to look different as your own text.
If you put this > sign in front of the quoted test, as you see in the screenshot below, the quoted text would look like in the second screenshot and we know it's a quote.
thanks for the knowledge @erikah, so you are saying, there is no need to give the link of the website from where the text is copied? using ( > ) is enough?
No, the link is a must in any condition, what I've said refers to formatting.
