Hola a toda la hermosa comunidad de fotógrafos y amantes de la fotografía en esta ocasión quiero compartir con ustedes un viaje de una hora a Quives un pueblo a una hora del centro de Lima, un lugar hermoso con paisajes muy lindos y conocido por todos los limeños ya que en este hermoso pueblo se encuentra la casa donde creció Santa Rosa de Lima a la que muchísimos peruanos son devotos.
Hello to all the beautiful community of photographers and photography lovers, this time I want to share with you a one hour trip to Quives, a town one hour from downtown Lima, a beautiful place with very nice landscapes and known by all the limeños since in this beautiful town is located the house where Santa Rosa de Lima grew up and to which many Peruvians are devoted.
En esta casa hay una pequeña iglesia con una arquitectura hermosa a la que lamentablemente no pudimos entrar ya que no se encontraba abierta al publico por la pandemia lo que mas me llamo la atención fueron los grandes arboles que se encontraban en el lugar, sumamente algo imagino que tendrán cientos de años, es algo digno de admirar.
Entre otras cosas había un pozo también muy conocido llamado "Pozo de los Deseos", si viajas al pueblo de Quives viaja preparado con lápiz y papel ya que será necesario si quieres pedir ese deseo tan anhelado.
Se conoce que el hecho se remonta a un acto de sacrificio que realizó Santa Rosa como penitencia por los pecados que cometían las personas. Ella decidió tirar al fondo del pozo la llave del candado, para así no poder abrir la cadena de un cinturón de hierro que utilizaba para flagelarse.
Miembros de su clérigo al enterarse de esto y al conocer las heridas que se infligía, le pidieron que se lo quitara, pero la santa les confesó que era imposible hacerlo. Ella se dirigió al pozo y tras sus súplicas, la cadena se abrió milagrosamente por obra de Dios, otorgándole así un misticismo y devoción que hasta la fecha se mantiene.
In this house there is a small church with beautiful architecture that unfortunately, we could not enter because it was not open to the public due to the pandemic, what caught my attention were the large trees that were in the place, extremely something I imagine that will have hundreds of years, it is something to admire.
