I was all braced for a storm last evening. The clouds were building rapidly. The sun was setting. There were weather warnings and then it all turned into a wonderful and colorful sunset.
The colors were changing half hour as the sun was setting in the west.
All of these photos were taken with an iPhone 11 with no alterations with software of any kinds....natural colors. The landscape / panoramic capabilities of the iPhone 11 and seem to be higher resolution then the older models.
At it's worst I thought we might be in for something major...darkness and swirls are not a good combination. The weather in the summer always sets up a clash of the ocean breeze from the east and the gulf front from the west and we get these daily tropical rains or incredible clouds.
I enjoy the orange hue of the sun as it's still shining on the clouds. This is why I enjoy clouds as the sun is dropping in the west.
You never know what you get. Tonight was suppose to be a storm and it turned out to be wonderful.
