Where it doesn't belong

Let's imagine you're walking through the quiet forest, completely immersed in it, and suddenly, in the midst of all this naturalness, something shines out at you that doesn't really belong there. The delicate yellow and white of an iris.

It was immediately clear to me that it definitely doesn't belong here. Actually. In the forest, in all this natural surroundings, you notice when something is out of place and has been cultivated by humans. We're all more familiar with this type of plant from gardens or parks. The places where it is cultivated.

Here in the forest, I found it growing more in the undergrowth, where there wasn't much light. For that reason alone, it stood out. It practically glowed. And of course, I wondered how it got here.

Carried by birds? Dropped here by humans? But the question that's much more interesting to me...will it survive here? I should stop by again around this time next year. This spot is easy to remember.

However, the contrast with the rugged forest surroundings is striking. Like a splash of color that got lost and, precisely because of that, made such an impact. A beautiful reminder that beauty can be found even in the most unexpected places.

Cool photos .
We often have such Flowers .
I have yellow and blue ones growing in my garden. 🥰

The crazy thing is, today when I was in the woods I found a blue one too. Crazy. Thanks for your comment!🙃✌️

That's cool.
I've never seen them in the woods, to be honest.
In parks and backyards.
But it would be cool to see them in the woods.)

Carried by the wind, it's a possibility. I love German iris, but yellow is not really common here.

Yes, you could be right. Ultimately, it must have been the wind. The photos are from two days ago, and today I saw a blue lily in the forest. Crazy. Thanks for your comment!🙃✌️
