That's what should happen here during winter but with global warming winters are not the same anymore. This winter we got lucky as had snow a couple of times and now that there's -20°C the snow is frozen, but we had years in which there was no snow at all, or that little that fell over night melted immediately in the morning.
I was really lucky with this photo shoot.
