I didn't believe it was possible either but after seeing your pictures, I made a search
"almond trees in Switzerland"
and to my surprise, it isn't as unlikely as I, originally, thought :)

Oh, I see.. I have just googled it too and I think we should 'thank' the global warming for this 😊 Although I wonder what they do with those almonds as I have never seen local almonds in a shop. Will pay better attention now! 😊
