How to take advantage of reflections in your photos

DSC01896.jpg

I know reflections can be annoying sometimes but if used correctly they can make your photo stand out and look more artistic.
Here are 5 tips for you to start trying this style in your photos:
  1. Find a reflective surface (water, shinny object, ice, sunglasses, screens, etc)
  2. Get close to the surface (this will help you create a symmetrical photo)
  3. Make sure you don't show up in the photo (depending on how the sun reflects, you might have to change your position/angle)
  4. Emphasize Symmetry
  5. Have fun (sometimes breaking the composition rules can lead you to get a super creative photo so make sure you play around with it)

I have taken this image in Albert Park, Melbourne. Australia.
Equipment: SonyA7III + 24-70 mm lens

Hope you like it! Let me know if you have any questions 😀

Love the quick and easy tips brother! and what a nice way to convert those annoyances into something cool.

I'd suggest to include next time the #photofeed tag or even better posting directly into their community page https://peakd.com/c/hive-153349

I always appreciate the work @photofeed has done for the photography community and to support my art, since the Steemit days.

Looking forward to seeing more from you amigo.
