I really love the fact that we live close to the sea. The sea and the adjacent dune region is a beautiful area to go for a walk, no matter what season it is.
Although we do like it when it is a nice and sunny day, like today.
And what a beautiful day it is for a walk. A blue sky, sun and about 20 degrees. That's not always the case when it's almost October. I even took off my sweater to walk in my T-shirt because it was so warm.
The dune area is an extensive region where nature can go it's way. At least, mostly, because there are conservation managers that keep an eye on the are to protect it from invasive species. They also oversee natural grazing by wild cattle and horses.
Visitors of the area are allowed to walk on the paths only. The area is surrounded by fences and cattle guards. You might just encounter one of those big Galloway cows or Konik horses. We didn't spot any today, the area is quite stretched.
The area is green and there are a lot of lakes. These lakes are used as drink water supplies. It is a water catchment area where groundwater is extracted and purified for drinking. Our tap water comes from these dunes.
After a nice walk we ended up at the beach. It was lively and busy. There were a lot of parents with young kids that were playing in the sand and some catamarans you can see in the shot above.
We didn't make a big round today, but the area is quite hilly and large parts of the trail were loose sand, so we did have a good exercise. Of course, we stopped for a well deserved cup of coffee at a beach café.

20 degrees here already feels like cold. Generally, the beaches, forests, mountains, or trails in my country in Venezuela usually have temperatures above 30 degrees, and in places like coasts and beaches, up to 40 degrees or more.
In summer it can get a boy warmer, but I'm happy with 20 degrees C. Especially when walking in loose sand in a hilly environment 🤣
Traveling life journey is a unique part of the experience. On this journey you have shared photography where the nature environment has long been beautiful with the environment. Of course I appreciate the skills of taking your extraordinary picture through such a trip sir. However, walking on a beautiful road is a great job that really improves health protection.

de vegetatie ruikt daar toch altijd weer anders dan elders in Nederland .
Jazeker. In het bosachtige gedeelte zijn veel naaldbomen, maar er waren opvallend veel rottende besjes, wat een iets alcoholische geur gaf. Er zullen wel weer wat dronken vogels zijn binnenkort 😀
En bij de zee natuurlijk de zilte lucht 😀
