A few weeks ago, I had the great opportunity to touch the grass after autumn settled in quite forcefully in this part of Romania. There were a couple of weeks that were very cloudy, with small rains pretty much all the time, but also lots of cold temperatures that made me want to hide under the blanket and read a book for most of the time.
Even if I like calling myself a creative person, my twin sister got some of the art hobbies as well, taking lots of photography products for some of her worldwide clients who are always ready to make the compromise of sending overseas their products just to get some outstanding results out of her homemade studio, or outdoors photography that she finds more suitable for some of the products.
Hence why, from time to time, there is not always a product photography, because some of the clients send products that are meant to be worn by a person while taking the photoshoot, and nevertheless I've been that person for many years in a row before she made a boyfriend who is now helping her in most of the cases unless the client asks for a feminine presence.
This is actually the main request this client from Germany sent out when he created proper briefs for the products he needed a photoshoot for, which were not a backpack, not a cap, nor a denim jacket, but actually all the patches you will see spread all over the clothes and accessories in the attached images.

The patches were part of more categories, such as: meme, video games, retro, gothic, animals, nature, etc, each of them having a specific brief with the number of images needed to be taken, a single shot having all of them together, which required adding the patches on the back of the denim jacket.
Both the outfit and posings were also included in the brief, the client being more than happy to pay for all the clothing items that were even meant to remain as a gift for me after the photoshoot, but also the patches and some other props that are not visible in the attached images because these are some of the spontanoeous ones taken by my sister, while keeping the actual product photos away from the internet until being shared by the client himself.
What I really appreciated on this photoshoot was the opportunity to get to the park and fill my lungs with fresh air after a while, but also the generosity of the client who was the first one in many photoshoots I helped my sister with, that offered an amount of money as a way to express his gratitude for the time I spent posing, although he had quite a few more expenses with the prompts, shipping, and photoshoot itself where he paid my sister for all the work behind the camera.

Nevertheless, while this might seem like a normal thing to do when asking for a photoshoot, it actually brought a smile to my face, gaining a bit more trust back in humanity, which, honestly speaking, they all seem more racist, mean, and mad, no matter the continent or country. We are all struggling with weird times to be alive, where nothing is guaranteed anymore, and the expectations when it comes to working with/for people are also pretty limited these days.
No need to say that I would have helped my sister without receiving anything in return anyway, as I did in all the other situations as well. But it surely changes the whole mood when something like this happens, as well as the little squirrel from the picture above, who was constantly following us, distracting us from time to time to ask for some food in return. What a lovely day!

Your story was honestly a joy to read. It’s clear how much love and teamwork you and your sister share, and that alone makes the whole experience special. It feels like you're having a little break from the world. It’s really nice to hear about your sister’s work, which she puts a lot of heart into her photography.
BTW, I like the jacket...
Thanks so much! We do make a great team together when it comes to helping her with the photo shoots, and it feels amazing, especially since we are living in separate places right now, and it's always a good excuse to take some time and spend it together as we used to.
Ha, I love the jacket too! Already wore it a couple of times since then!
It does look like a lovely day - I"m sorry you're feeling the world is a bit shit, and I totally hear you. When you look for a bit of magic though, it'll appear. Love the badges and the photos are perfect - casual, unpretentious, and fun.
Thank you so much! It means a lot to feel understood during the current times, and I knew there would be people on here who feel exactly the way I do. So thank you for the encouraging words! 🤗
Aww, I'm so glad you had a lovely day out with your sister! The photos are stunning, and I love how you captured the essence of autumn in Romania. Your natural poses and expressions shine through, and the patches on the jacket are so cool! It's great that it's appreciated your time and effort, and it's wonderful that you got to spend quality time with your sister. Tanks for sharing this with us! ♥️
Thank you so much for this! It means a lot that you noticed all those little details. I loved spending that day with my sister, and I’m really happy the photos and autumn vibe reached you too. Thanks for being here. ♥️
Firstly, I admire the designs on the jacket. And the poses were natural! I am sure your sister appreciates you for all the help, and even though she has a partner, she still sees you as her model.
Also, it was very nice of the client offering you something for your service. It surely would lighten up my mood, too, no matter the amount. It is the thought that counts.
Thank you so much! I’m happy you liked the jacket and the photos, as it was a sweet little moment for both my sister and me. And you’re right, the client’s gesture really made my day. Sometimes it’s those small things that stay with you.
It was a great experience, serving as a model and enjoying the scenery. There are always stories to tell, plus you get all those gifts at the end. Great job.
Indeed! It was a fun day that I already miss to be honest!
Nice job helping your sister, sure she appreciates it so much. You look very natural so the day being a model it wasn't so bad 😅
Thanks a lot! She was really happy with how everything turned out, and I had more fun than I expected playing “model” for a day. 😅 Glad it came across naturally!
Appreciate it! Thank you!
