Weekly photo session with friends.

Friend: Hello, are you busy today?
Me: No, what's up?
Friend: Want to join a photo session?
Me: Sure, who's the model?
Friend: Someone I photographed before.
Me: What time does the photo shoot start?
Friend: Around 3 pm, I'll contact you once we're at the location. It's at CW Coffee.

That was the conversation when my friend invited me to join a photo session. Just a casual photo session, for practice and to find color tones. I often struggle to find suitable color tones. Most of my photos are straight out of the camera (SOOC); I don't do color grading. Usually, I just do a bit of retouching to remove wrinkles under the eyes and acne.

Oh, this photo session is also an activity of my community, held once a week. Lately, it's been challenging to find a model for photo sessions, so my friend took the initiative to invite a model he had worked with before. And here are the results of the photos:

I myself am still confused about achieving the right color tones that suit my style. Personally, I like vintage colors because, in my opinion, such colors stand the test of time. However, I often receive comments that the colors are too yellow or too green. As a result, many of the edited files end up just stored on my hard drive.

What do you think? Are the photos above good enough? Lately, I've been feeling less confident about the results of the photos I share. I always feel that my photos are not good, so I never share them on social media. Oh, thank you to those who have stopped by my post. I hope you like it.

Warm regards.

You should be confident with your works please, these are nice! I mean, I understand what you are going through and how it feels. But there are a lot out there that can’t even do half of this, and they put themselves out so well.

Do it scared and unsure, you will keep getting better.

Review on the images; they are very nice and I love them so much. Some are a little over exposed though, that’s the only thing I can say about it. Asides that, good job 👏
