A bit less than two weeks ago, I made this post: Exploring Rugged Coastline and Mysterious Fog Walk. The post im doing now is a follow-up to the previous one. While in the last post, I walked along the foggy and interesting sea coast. Here I was walking back, but not along the same way. I went into the forest to find another way back. It was just as foggy and mysterious!

I had trouble finding nice compositions because there were serious problems with mosquitoes. I was unable to stay still because during 10 seconds of stillness, about 10 mosquitoes bit me. There are a lot of places where mosquitoes are in large quantities, but for whatever reason, in this particular spot, it was absolutely insane.
Maybe because it was very damp and the wind speed was near zero. Perfect conditions for them.
The scenery was mesmerizing however.

While the day progressed, the fog gradually dissipated more and more.

When I was almost back where I started the coastal walk, almost all of the fog on land was gone. There was still something on the sea, and I was not able to see very far out onto the water.

There are state-maintained fireplaces and camping spots in the area, there are many of these. Some spots along the coast have fireplaces built randomly by people, like this one here. People have brought rocks from the beach and built their own fireplace.

I didn't take more photos on this hike and was looking forward to getting back to the car fast. To finally be rid of the mosquito hordes. Overall, I loved the hike. Both the beach and forest walk. A lot of unique rock formations there, and the forest looked great with all this fog.

Really beautiful post! I’ve always loved forests, trees, and that calm, mysterious feeling that fog creates, and your photos capture it perfectly. The atmosphere in each shot is amazing — great work on the photography!
Glad you like the shots, some are pretty cool indeed! I happened to be at the right place at the right time.
