It's this god forsaken month again, my least favorite month of the year named November. Whining about it never helped anything but I still do it haha. There is a lot of reasons why I can't stand this month, but the most influential being almost no sunshine at all. Im not even bothered by short daylight time but just the fact of no sunshine and endless grayness.
The last time I saw sunshine was 4 days ago. We have a slight possibility on Monday and after that the forecast has no sunny days at all, until 20th of November. For me the lack of sunshine means less enery and lack of motivation to be outdoors, which I otherwise love doing. I still spend time outdoors to stay healthy and physically active, but I feel it to be forced often, in November.
Another thing is photography. Since everything is colourless and gray almost always, these photos get old really fast. So I really don't take many in this month. Fortunately, I have a backlog of trips and photos to post here from other seasons, so I don't entirely run out of stuff to blog.

A couple of days ago I went out for a walk and took my camera with me. To hopefully find something to click this shutter button on. Eventhough it was gray, there still are some colors to be found, so I did. When wider landscape photos are no use, I think there are details to be found to take photos of, with a telephoto lens and I try to do that more in this season.
This orange one is a very old pine tree. Some other kind of pine than we usually have everywhere. the thorns look a lot different.

The muddy trails.

Ducks in a river.

While most trees are now without leaves. Some smaller birch trees still remain green for some reason.

One of my regular trails near my home often brings me to walk next to this lake. I snapped those couple of shots of this.

I hope it's not too long until the cold and snowy weather because one thing I love to take photos of, are frosty, snowy, sunny winter days.

I'm experiencing the opposite haha. After 40c from May to October every day in Armenia with just no humidity, it's so nice to have these cold, dark days. Where I don't need to slap an ND filter on the camera and the clouds diffuse that light quite nicely. So nice to get out and feel the cold again and be able to wear different clothes that aren't just typical summer stuff. But I've always been a bit more of an autumn and winter person.
Also nice to actually be able to get out and shoot because the sun isn't borderline deathly with all that exposure!
Oh yeah, 40C is killer for sure. I guess too much of something is never good. I dont mind cloudy and gray weather but it's 3 or 4 months straight of this here. At least other months we get some snow and from January we have a bit more sun peeking out. And yeah sun sets about 15.20 here 😄
Usually I can remove the overexposure, weather tweaking camera setting or the RAW photo files after. Sunshine on photos never really bothers me.
