Oh' CANADA - Light Painting a Maple Leaf

Here is another Sunday Home Light Painting Experiment. This time I used a dead maple leaf that sits for months on my table. It's cold outside so I start roaming around the house looking for subjects to light paint.

Simple Setup

To put it up I quickly used a small clamp and put it on my chair in the studio that's it.

Lighting Test

As always I run a few tests. The challenge here was not to shine a kick light into the lens. Or NOT? The one shot with a flare looks pretty cool as I would judge.

The Maple

In the end, I settled with an F22 Aperature and applied light usually around 10-20 seconds. My ISO was set to 100. For the shine-through effect, I held a flashlight relatively close behind the leaf and illuminated the veins within.

What do you think? Whats your faforite?

Na welches gefällt euch am besten? Was denkt Ihr?

If you think this is Spam, why did you read this far, and why the fuck bother you? Move on from your self-righteous mind state and bury yourself. Don't bother about what others may find interesting. Just stay in your bubble and ...

Cheer Up, Guys!

Cheeeers!

The maple actually makes more sense to me
It looks kinda mature

no worries I know its an insider ;-)
in the ester part of Canada people put an 'a' as a filler everytime the take a breath - its kind of a runnin gag in th US & Canada > so there is ajoke on how the country was named. Randomly picking a letter and betwee them is of course a capital 'A' 😎
