The Storyteller and the Gatekeeper - Endless opportunities for a LightPainter
Today I want to share some more Light Paintings from my most recent trip to the Einsiedel. Some of you may have seen a few images. Today a few more light paintings and some more impressions.
When you're out with such great people, cool results are guaranteed. Oh, and laughter and fun are probably secured as well! See for yourself.
Heute gibts einige weitere Light Paintings von meiner letzten Reise zum Einsiedel. Einige von euch haben vielleicht schon ein paar Bilder gesehen. Heute gibt es ein paar weitere Light Paintings und einige zusätzliche Eindrücke.
Wenn man mit so tollen Leuten unterwegs ist kanns nur coole Ergebnisse geben. Achja; Lachen und Spass sind dann wohl auch abgesichert!
Here is the team! This is how our briefing looked like. Well in parts we were waiting for it to get dark. In the mean time we were offered some food and drinks. Of course we welcomed this delicious home made food.

So sah unsere Team-Besprechung aus. Nun ja, teilweise haben wir darauf gewartet, dass es dunkel wird. In der Zwischenzeit wurden uns etwas zu essen und zu trinken angeboten. Natürlich haben wir dieses köstliche hausgemachte Essen gerne angenommen.

The first thing you do after your location check is a proper briefing. In our case this came with bier and a Gulasch in a huge bread loaf.

Thank you Team Einsiedel. Your Welcome Gulasch was one perfect to start the night and do our briefing. We had some time to chill and prioritize what we wanted to do through out the night. With full and warm balleys we started into this fun night...
First Stage
Directly after our wonderful dinner had the most comfortable place to start. The Restaurant. At 8pm was a show for kids taking place. The Team had asked us if we can portray / Lightpaint the Story-teller right after the show. So with the wild stage being such a cool spot for light painting this was an easy deal. Eat and photogrpahy right after. It was warm and cozy.
Direkt nach unserem wunderbaren Abendessen hatten wir den gemütlichsten Ort, um anzufangen. Das Restaurant. Um 20 Uhr fand eine Show für Kinder statt. Das Team hatte uns gefragt, ob wir den Geschichtenerzähler gleich nach der Vorstellung porträtieren / lightpainten könnten. Mit der wilden Bühne als so coolem Ort für Light Painting war das ein einfacher Deal. Essen und Fotografieren direkt danach. Es war warm und gemütlich.
The Storyteller
The first LightPainting of the Night was then this 50-second single exposure of the Story teller. My camera was set to ISO 200 and the lens to F-8 at 16mm nice and wide to see the entire stage with all the little details.
I was running around with a small flashlight and lit up all the little parts all by hand.
Das erste Light Painting der Nacht war dann diese 50 Sekunden lange Einzelaufnahme des Geschichtenerzählers. Meine Kamera war auf ISO 200 eingestellt und das Objektiv auf F-8 bei 16 mm, schön weit, um die gesamte Bühne mit all den kleinen Details zu sehen.
Ich lief mit einer kleinen Taschenlampe herum und beleuchtete alle kleinen Teile ganz von Hand.
The Gate Keeper
When I saw this mystic entrance to the underworld I knew we were to return when its dark. As we worked our way from the magic forest in the far back of the property we had to come right by this spot and not only me but also Thomas and Felix were light painting this one. Here you can see what I did with Nadia. Simply pose and a kick light done in 45 seconds also at ISO 200 and the lens at F8.
Als ich diesen mystischen Eingang zur Unterwelt sah, wusste ich, dass wir zurückkehren würden, wenn es dunkel ist. Als wir uns von dem Zauberwald ganz hinten auf dem Grundstück herarbeiteten, kamen wir direkt an diesem Ort vorbei, und nicht nur ich, sondern auch Thomas und Felix haben diesen beleuchtet. Hier siehst du, was ich mit Nadia gemacht habe. Einfach posieren und ein Kicklicht in 45 Sekunden erledigt, ebenfalls bei ISO 200 und der Blende auf F8.
