The last shot of the night and also the last shot I want to share from the series of Light Paintings from the adventure with Chris, Jane, and Anna. In this shot you see Anna and Chris climbing up the ladder. Yes, it is just the two of them going up. To get the effect I was lighting them up as they moved up and down.
After lighting them I placed some lights behind them in to show you also the tank itself and add some colors.
Letztes foto des Abends und auch das letzte Foto dieser Serie. Dies ist quasi das letzte Light Painting des Abends schnell noch zum Spaß bevor wir wieder los sind. Ihr habt bestimmt die anderen Bilder des Ausfluges mit Anna, Chris und Jane gesehen. Hier im Bild sind nur Chris und Anna wie sie die Leiter hoch klettern. Dabei habe ich sie dann nacheinander eingeleuchtet.
Nachdem die Damen da hochgeklettert waren habe ich dann noch ein wenig Farbe ins Spiel gebracht und den Tank hinter den beiden ausgeleuchtet. Sonst sieht man ja nicht wo die beiden sind.

What were the settings?
What you see is a featured Light Painting is a single 293-second loooooong exposure time photograph. The camera was always set to ISO 400 and the Laowa Zero D 12mm F2.8 Lens to F8.

The Ladies
Anna is also a super creative human (We worked on the wind tunnel Light Painting together) and she is generally interested in cool projects like this. She also provided us with some background soundtrack with her Didgeridoo and the guitar. The sound of the Didgeridoo in the tank was mindblowing.
Chriss is a creative dance Performer and a Dance teacher from Augsburg. I was super happy she joined in on this adventure. Thaaanx I am a huge fan!
Getting to the tank.
In the middle of what's now forest outside of Berlin are the remains of an old military base from the former GDR. This adventure took place in December. The cool thing is that in December everything is pitch-black at 5 pm which makes it a Blair Witch Project from the start. So getting there early on a Sunday afternoon gets you an early start and you are home and you can get to work the next day without any trouble getting up in the morning. So we all made it home safe and sound without a glitch.
Mitte im Wald 20min außerhalb von Berlin findet man eine alte DDR Kaserne. Als wir daraus gefahren sind war es Dezember und um 17 Uhr schon schön finster, klingt wie der von Anfang an zu einem Blair Witch Project. Also schnell los damit wir sehr früh an einem Dezember Sonntagnachmittag da sind. Wollen ja noch was sehen. Danke für das entgegengebrachte Vertrauen, dass wir bei Regen und Schnee durch die Dunkelheit gelaufen sind. Am Ende sind wir alle ohne Panne relativ früh wieder nach Hause gekommen.
Arriving in the Tank it was so nice. No wind and at least 10 degrees more. Let's camp here. All the equipment found a "corner". Alongside some tee and biscuits. Yes and free hugs where my bag was 🤩
