RE: How do I get more clients to stand in front of my camera?

in Photography Lovers2 years ago

if you are aiming for weddings start smaller , go to a playground ask permissions of parents to make portraits of the kids , tell them you are trying to work on bussiness but need more experience portrait the kid if they like it they can pay if they don't like it you will be more then happy to delete the image.

My one and only subject that I dislike is the corny family portraits of family bathed in golden light, with a pre-set and an online gallery that extorts clients for the images that they thought were included in the session fee.

I want to do my business ethically, while avoiding children / infants as my subject matter as I am firm a believer of the "never work with kids or animals" (with reference to show-biz), of which photography could be considered that.

I'd happily do maternity images, but I just cannot tolerate the energy (or noise) of children.
