A Pile of Snail Shells

Somewhere among the rice fields, here in the corner where I live, I found a pile of snail shells. The why for the accumulation is unknown to me. I had noticed before that there was an increase in empty snail shells being found in the area. But this time, that was just - a lot.

Irgendwo zwischen den Reisfeldern, hier bei mir in der Ecke, wo ich lebe, habe ich einen Haufen Schneckenhäuser gefunden. Das wieso oder warum für die Anhäufung ist mir nicht bekannt. Mir war schon vorher aufgefallen, dass sich dort vermehrt leere Schneckenhäuser in der Gegend finden lassen. Aber diesmal, das war einfach nur - viel.
