Buildings in Caracas
Hello friends! Today we will go out to tour the city of Caracas without a fixed direction, that is to say we will go from east to west, from north to south and we will photograph those buildings and towers that for its architecture considered to be very interesting, for this exercise I had the support of my aunt, who with her car took me to various parts of the city and together we could live the maximum passion for photography and at the same time we discovered many places and aspects of the city that so far were ignored by both, it was a new experience, but the truth is that very rewarding.

Edificios de Caracas
Hola amigos! Hoy saldremos a recorrer la ciudad de Caracas sin rumbo fijo, es decir iremos de este a oeste, de norte a sur y fotografiaremos aquellos edificios y torres que por su arquitectura consideró que son muy interesantes, para este ejercicio conté con el apoyo de mi tía, quien con su carro me llevo a diversos puntos de la ciudad y juntos pudimos vivir al máximo la pasión por la fotografías y al mismo tiempo descubrimos muchos lugares y aspectos de la ciudad que hasta el momento eran ignorados por ambos, fue una experiencia nueva, pero la verdad es que muy gratificante.
I am an internationalist by profession, photographer by love but urbanist by heart, I say this because my love for the city, for architecture and the design of public spaces is something innate, and I usually capture it in games like Sims City or in ideas that flow spontaneously when I see an ungraceful space in the city or when I face the results of an urbanization or new urban development. It is for this reason that I always look at the facades of the buildings, in their environment and I am very struck by how they are integrated into the city, generating a unique architectural nuance that allows me to differentiate Caracas from any other town in Venezuela or the world.
Yo soy Internacionalista de profesión, fotógrafo por amor pero urbanista de corazón, esto lo digo porque mi amor por la ciudad, por la arquitectura y el diseño de espacios públicos es algo innato, y lo suelo plasmar en juegos como Sims City o en ideas que van fluyendo de forma espontanea al ver un espacio poco agraciado en la ciudad o al enfrentarme con los resultados de una urbanización o desarrollo urbanístico nuevo. Es por esta razón que siempre me fijo en las fachadas de los edificios, en su entorno y me llama mucho la atención como estos se integran a la ciudad, generando un matiz arquitectónico único que permite diferenciar a Caracas de cualquier otro poblado en Venezuela o el mundo.
Returning to our tour, I must say that it was an improvised tour and the main idea was to never get out of the vehicle, therefore the photographs to be captured had to be taken through the window and generally in full motion, this undoubtedly adds a level of difficulty to the matter, but it is precisely that detail that made this experience different, complex but super fun, as it allows to exploit skills and develop the full capabilities of a small pocket Kodak camera, which on its buttons already has thousands of shots and several years of uninterrupted service.
Volviendo a nuestro recorrido, debo decir que fue un paseo improvisado y la idea principal consistía en nunca bajarse del vehículo, por lo tanto las fotografías a capturar debían ser tomadas por la ventanilla y generalmente en pleno movimiento, esto sin duda alguna le agrega un nivel de dificultad al asunto, pero es justamente ese detalle el que hizo que esta experiencia fuera diferente, compleja pero super divertida, ya que permite explotar habilidades y desarrollar al máximo las capacidades de una pequeña cámara Kodak de bolsillo, la cual sobre sus botones ya cuenta con miles de disparos y varios años prestando servicio de forma ininterrumpida.
Personal skills, technical skills, equipment handling, good driving and quick response to adversity were the elements that were put to the test in this beautiful morning in the capital, for the first time that something like this is tried I must tell you that the results were quite good, although of course there are always details to improve, but certainly every day you learn something new, so to invent and get out of the monotony is essential to generate new knowledge and at the same time have fun to the fullest. I believe that as artists we should always be open to try new experiences, to take risks and to live life to the fullest, since this generates the satisfaction that we are giving everything for a good cause, sometimes the results are successful and reach many, but sometimes we reap failures that nobody sees, but in general everything is part of our walk through life and the experience accumulated in all those moments is our greatest treasure.
Habilidades personales, habilidades técnicas, manejo del equipo, buena conducción y respuesta rápida ante las adversidades fueron los elementos que se pusieron a prueba en esta linda mañana capitalina, para ser la primera vez que se intenta algo así debo decirles que los resultados fueron bastante buenos, aunque claro siempre existen detalles por mejorar, pero sin duda alguna cada día se aprende algo nuevo, por eso inventar y salir de la monotonía es fundamental para generar nuevos conocimientos y al mismo tiempo divertirse al máximo. Creo que como artistas siempre debemos estar abiertos a probar nuevas experiencias, a arriesgarnos y a vivir la vida al máximo, ya que esto nos genera la satisfacción que estamos dándolo todo por una buena cusa, a veces los resultados son exitosos y llegan a muchos, pero en otras ocasiones cosechamos fracasos que nadie ve, pero en general todo forma parte de nuestro caminar por la vida y la experiencia acumulada en todos esos momentos es nuestro mayor tesoro.
Residential, financial, commercial or government buildings, in this exhibition we get everything, but the most interesting thing is that they are buildings seen from a very particular perspective, so it is very difficult to see photos like these of Caracas in any other place, so starting from that point of view you can say that my tour was good, now I would really like to hear your comments and opinions, also take this opportunity to invite you to this beautiful city, which always gives us a different side and where you have the opportunity to generate photographs of all possible types and forms.
Edificios residenciales, financieros, comerciales o gubernamentales, en esta muestra conseguimos de todo, pero lo más interesante es que son construcciones vistas desde una perspectiva muy particular, por lo tanto es muy difícil que veas fotos como estas de Caracas en algún otro lugar, así que partiendo desde ese punto de vista se puede decir que mi recorrido fue bueno, ahora me gustaría mucho escuchar sus comentarios y opiniones, además aprovecho para invitarlos a esta linda ciudad, la cual siempre nos regalara una faceta diferente y en donde se tiene la oportunidad de generar fotografías de todos los tipos y formas posibles.
