En nuestra familia compramos una planta para ambientar nuestro apartamento. La plantita que compramos se llama Bromélia.
In our family we bought a plant to decorate our apartment. The plant we bought is called Bromeliad.

Luego de un año de haber comprado la plantita, me fijo que en la tierra de su maceta hay algo pequeño que se mueve, cuando me acerco a ver, era ese lindo caracol 🐌. Le llamé Turbo.
After a year of having bought the seedling, I notice that in the soil of its pot there is something small that moves, when I approach to see it was that cute snail 🐌. I named him Turbo.

Me pareció super extraño que ese caracol apareciera allí con vida, ya que nunca le habíamos cambiado la tierra a la planta y nunca la sacamos al exterior del apartamento ni estuvo en contacto con otra tierra aparte de la de ella.
I found it superintendent strange that that snail appeared there alive, as we had never changed the soil on the plant and we never took it outside the apartment nor was it in contact with any soil other than hers.
Emocionado, coloque la foto en mis historias de WhatsApp. Para mi decepción, varios comentaron mi foto y uno de ellos me dijo que esa especie de caracol es considerada una plaga para las plantas. Pude percibir la realidad cuando examinado con más cuidado, vi que habían otra gran cantidad de caracoles muy diminutos en la misma tierra.
Excited, I posted the photo on my WhatsApp stories. To my disappointment, several people commented on my photo and one of them told me that this species of snail is considered a pest for plants. I was able to perceive the reality when I examined more carefully, I saw that there was another large number of very tiny snails in the same soil.

Mi intriga fue ¿Cómo aparecieron todos esos caracoles allí en nuestra plantita? Pude recordar la película animada llamada Turbo, que se trata de un grupo de caracoles tratando de sobrevivir en un jardín con plantas de tomates. Ninguno de los personajes de la pelicula tenía papá o mamá...
My intrigue was how did all those snails appear there in our little plant? I could remember the animated movie called Turbo, which is about a group of snails trying to survive in a garden with tomato plants. None of the characters in the movie had a mom or dad....
Al ver todos esos caracoles en mi planta pude entender por qué ningunos de los personajes de la película tenía mamá o papá. Ya que todos aparecieron allí prácticamente de la nada, puede ser que ya estuvieran los huevitos en la tierra desde un principio antes de comprar la planta, y luego salieron a la luz. Pero sigo teniendo la intriga ¿cuales son sus padres?.
Seeing all those snails on my plant I could understand why none of the characters in the movie had a mom or dad. Since they all appeared there practically out of nowhere, it could be that the little eggs were already in the ground from the beginning before I bought the plant, and then they came to light. But I'm still curious, which are their parents?
