"Catharsis at 50 mm"... When photography is necessary 📷✍ || ENG-ESP

Hello #Hive friends!.... My mother often says "Not every day, is Saint Lucia's day".... And she says this to refer to those days when we just get out of bed and we are irritable and in a bad mood without any explanation.... And in my case this is particularly complex as I tend to be a kind of "cocktail of character variations".... So when this happens, I usually take my camera and go out immediately to take pictures that I call "necessary"...

¡Hola amigos de #Hive!... Mi madre suele decir "No todos los días, son de Santa Lucía"... Y esto lo dice para hacer referencia a esos días en los que simplemente nos levantamos de la cama y estamos irritables y de mal humor sin explicación alguna... Y en mi caso esto es particularmente complejo pues suelo ser una especie de "cóctel de variaciones de carácter"... Así que cuando esto sucede, suelo tomar mi cámara y salir de inmediato a hacer fotografías de esas que llamo "necesarias"...

These "necessary photos" are generally captures of everyday elements of various kinds, which in some way "make me think of something else" at the time of capture and -obviously- at the time of subsequent editing of the RAW image on my PC ...

Esas "fotos necesarias" son generalmente capturas de elementos cotidianos de diversa índole, los cuales de alguna manera "me hagan pensar demás" al momento de la captura y -obviamente- al momento de la posterior edición de la imagen en RAW en mi PC...

So this "catharsis" is something relatively simple: I take photos with some drama, I reflect a lot while taking them, I mentally give them a title and then I get to my office and edit them in one or two versions... And that's it... The moodiness and irritability tends to go away! 😎... (Or sometimes not, but then I'm a "sourpuss" with some nice pictures of the day)... 😵😒

Entonces esta "catarsis" es algo relativamente simple: Hago fotos con cierto drama, reflexiono mucho mientras las hago, mentalmente les doy un título y luego llego a mi oficina y las edito en una o dos versiones... ¡Y listo!... ¡El mar humor y la irritabilidad tienden a desaparecer! 😎... (O a veces no, pero entonces soy un "amargado" con algunas fotos lindas del día)... 😵😒

In any way, it's quite a fun "therapy" to do... I usually compose the photos from the camera and the versions I edit in color keep the original composition... But for the variations I usually turn to black and white and modify the composition to my liking, so I can give them a "personal touch of extra drama" and keep away my bad mood (or "living" with it at least)... 😊👽

De la manera que sea, es una "terapia" bastante entretenida de realizar... Por lo general suelo componer las fotos desde la cámara y las versiones que edito en color mantienen esa composición de origen... Pero para las variaciones suelo virar al blanco y negro y modificar la composición a mi gusto, así puedo darles un "toque personal de drama extra" y seguir alejando mi mal humor (o "conviviendo" con el cuando menos)... 😊👽

At least today this "alternative therapy" for my morning tantrums has worked well and I have ended up quite relaxed after capturing and editing these photos... Actually here in my country (Venezuela) life is complicated enough to have to resort to anything that can help us to keep a positive attitude to face each day as best as possible... Cuando menos hoy ha dado buen resultado esta "terapia alternativa" para la mis berrinches mañaneros y he terminado bastante relajado después de capturar y editar estas fotos... En realidad aquí en mí país (Venezuela) la vida es lo suficientemente complicada como para tener que recurrir a cualquier cosa que pueda ayudarnos a mantener una actitud positiva para afrontar cada día lo mejor posible...
