It has been a day indoors and in slightly warm clothes. My niece left because she had an appointment today, she has been a great company.

She did hey such a sweet lady, she's been cooking and doing my laundry, cleaning the place. Can't wait to spoil her when I start working, she working her way to becoming my favorite niece 😃

I know Jackie, I didn't realize I miss them so much, I am only realizing now, if they visit even my sisters and leave, I feel sad like I want them around me more. While in SA I was acting macho like I didn't miss them much.

Good you do realise it now Joe. As family… even if we act up and pretend we don’t need them… is important.
I notice it now so much, not having a family. Yes, friends are there. But it doesn’t help, me moving around countries. I don’t see them more than once a year as we are far apart… mostly countries hehehe 🤭
Let’s hope I settle here and can find new friends. As it is hard nowadays… especially after covid. People stay more at home than ever. Don’t connect that easily.
