I'd probably not be confident enough to be walking on ice, Cuz I don't think I'd be confident that the weight of the snow will be able to hold, especially if there are others walking on it too. It's a great and astonishing feeling. Also, how many degrees does this need to be for the water to freeze to this extent?

Living here in western Canada, walking on ice from time to time is normal. Some are good at it, some are not. Myself I played hockey for many years, so ice is no biggie for me.
I don't think the angle or degree matter much when it comes to freezing, but I ain't no scientist either lol.
