You took very beautiful and high quality photos as always.

I want to tell you something interesting that I remembered when I saw the pink flowers.

Here in Venezuela there is a fruit that its name in Spanish is Pomalaca, but I was investigating and in English it is called Malay apple, I remembered this fruit because its flower is the same as the one you show in the first photos.

A bulb that releases many pink hairs. Something very curious is that when these trees are flowering they always create a pink carpet on the ground.

Oh yeah, the ground gets covered with the little thin flower petals as you say. I'm not sure it's the same type of tree you mention but it certainly sounds very similar.
