I have a folder on my desktop that is old enough that it is labeled "Steemit Candidates." It is filled with images that I captured and edited, but never posted (at least as far as I can tell). Usually I would remove images from that folder after posting them on Steemit or, more recently, on Hive. Over the next several days, I'm going to clean out that folder.
Today, I'm going to start with some pictures I took of the ocean using intentional camera movement. Back when I took these shots, my friend @rossfletcher and I thought some of them were reminiscent of the art of Mark Rothko. Since Ross posted not one, but two additions to his blog today featuring Rothko-like images, these seem like a good enough place to start on my mission to empty this folder of dusty images. So, here we go...

Sometimes the blurred shots offer something special.
Definitely. Thanks for taking a look.
Very interesting idea😍 .this is well and truly brilliant.
your presentation is outstanding. Beautifully done.
Thanks! Tune in later today for part 2...
Happy New Year, Petra. You and I are old friends on Steemit and Hive. I agree with you that those with a lot to give with their votes seem to have their favorites. But we are still here, waiting for our gift. I hope you have a good week.
