I was leaving the capital for a day to another district due to some works. I choose to travel by air rather than by bus/micro for this purpose. These photos were shot from the airport runway while the bus was escorting us to our respective flight. This is the only international airport currently in operation in Nepal: Tribhuvan International Airport. It also operates domestic terminal as well. Another one is going to be opened soon in 2022 in Pokhara, Nepal that will be another airport for international level. After dictatorship of Rana was overthrown after 104 years in Nepal, King Tribhuvan who had been in India as refugee arrived Nepal on a plane from Delhi to this place. And this was how international airport got established at this place.
This helicopter belongs to Nepali Army. Just by its appearance you can be sure that it is for military purposes. They were just waiting for their copter to get fueled.
