Last week Monday me and my friends making it a total of 7 people head out for a trip to north of Western Australia upto the coastal city of Geraldton. We booked a SUV so that everyone can travel within one vehicle. As soon as we reach Yanchep, we decided to take Indian Ocean Drive which is a coastal route that is about 269 km. The journey from this coastal route is 30 minutes shorter than the main inland Brand highway. You can see beautiful indian ocean from your vehicle during the journey.

All these photos were clicked during our road trip. More importantly I forgot to have some photos of stretching sand dunes along the coastal road. There were huge sand dunes hill during our ride. Furthermore the summer vegetation along the coastal route looks very drier and consists of mix of the sand dunes and shrubs. Full blooming wildflowers can be seen growing around the way. It seems like that the best time to visit here would be the winter season.

It's summer here in Western Australia and that day it was hotter but not like usual days. It was a perfect moment for swimming in our Airbnb while we reached there at around 3 PM to finally relax after a long drive.

While returning back to Perth, we stopped at a coastal town of Cervantes for a short time to relax our ankle and legs before driving 195km straight to Perth without stopping anywhere. We also got a chance to witness the magical sun dips behind the horizon giving a golden glow. It was truly a magical breathtaking scene.
