Unfortunately, the time we spent in Brittany was far too short. We will definitely go to the "end of the world" again. I was very impressed by the unique landscape. I hope this will be visible in my pictures.
Leider war die Zeit, die wir in der Bretagne verbracht haben viel zu kurz. Ganz sicher fahren wir nochmal ans "Ende der Welt". Die einmalige Landschaft hat mich sehr beeindruckt. Ich hoffe, das wird in meinen Bilder sichtbar.
There is so much to discover there. Everywhere there are witnesses of the Second World War, bunkers, gun emplacements and torpedo tubes built into the rocks.
Es gibt dort so viel zu entdecken. Überall stehen die Zeugen des zweiten Weltkrieges, Bunker, Geschützstellungen und in die Felsen eingebaute Torpedorohre.
This ruin stands near the coast. There is no other building far and wide. Obviously this was some kind of holiday home. Why it is in this state now I cannot say. But it is definitely a worthwhile photo motif.
Diese Ruine steht in der Nähe der Küste. Weit und breit gibt es kein weiteres Gebäude. Offensichtlich war das eine Art Ferienhaus. Warum es jetzt in diesem Zustand ist kann ich nicht sagen. Aber ein lohnendes Fotomotiv ist das auf jeden Fall.
There are several very impressive lighthouses at the end of the world. Unfortunately, we could not visit them all. We will have to make up for that on our next visit. Hopefully we can plan our trip then so that we don't go to the end of the world in high summer. On the one hand, there won't be so many people on the road and on the other hand, we might be able to do some light paintings. That was hardly possible on our last trip. It was only dark for about 1.5 hours.
Am Ende der Welt gibt es mehrere sehr beeindruckende Leuchttürme. Leider konnten wir nicht alle besuchen. Das müssen wir dann bei unserem nächsten Besuch nachholen. Hoffentlich können wir unsere Reise dann so planen, dass wir nicht im Hochsommer ans Ende der Welt fahren. Einerseits sind dann nicht so viele Menschen unterwegs und andererseits können wir dann vielleicht auch ein paar Light Paintings machen. Bei unserer letzten Reise war das kaum möglich. Es war nur ca. 1,5 Stunden dunkel.

The ruined monastery with the Saint-Mathieu lighthouse is a very impressive place. We will definitely go there again and do some light painting.
Die Klosterruine mit dem Leuchtturm Saint-Mathieu ist ein sehr beeindruckender Ort. Wir werden dort ganz sicher nochmal hinfahren und einige Light Painting Bilder umsetzen.

Schöne Fotos. Ein wenig Schade das diese interessanten Bauwerke so eine dunkle Vergangenheit haben, aber ohne die wären die Bauwerke halt nicht da.
