A few days ago I visited a winter fairy tale. And now we have spring. Apparently in the mountain village of Mita the snow is melting too ... Let's take a walk along this fabulous road together. Mighty spruces grow on both sides, covered with thick snow.
Кілька днів тому я побувала у зимовій казці. А зараз у нас вже весна. Мабуть у гірському селі Мита теж тане сніг... Давайте разом погуляємо цією казковою дорогою. Обабіч ростуть могутні ялини, вкриті густими снігом.
Soon we can see the village and the mountains on the horizon. Can photos convey this silence? It is so lacking in the big city!
Незабаром ми можемо побачити село і гори на горизонті. Чи можуть фотографії передати цю тишу? Її так бракує у великому місті!
Partly cloudy and not very bright sun emphasize the special texture of the snow. It looks like a thick cotton blanket, under which dry grass is dozing ... When the sun looks out from behind the clouds, the snow shines as if sprinkled with diamonds.
Мінлива хмарність і не дуже яскраве сонце підкреслюють особливу фактуру снігу. Він схожий на товсту бавовняну ковдру, під якою дрімає суха трава... Коли сонце виглядає з-за хмар, сніг блистить наче посипаний діамантами.
And what charming houses of Carpathian mountaineers! This part of the Ukrainian Carpathians is called Boykivshchyna. People build wooden houses here and often paint them in bright colors. There are streets in the villages, but there are often detached houses on the high hills. It is not easy for their residents in these snowy days. It seems that the houses, covered with a thick layer of snow, are also in hibernation!
А які чарівні хати карпатських горців! Ця частина українських Карпат називається Бойківщина. Люди будують тут будинки із дерева і часто розмальовують у яскраві кольори. У селах є вулиці, але часто трапляються і будинки, що стоять окремо, на високих пагорбах. Нелегко їх жителям у ці снігові дні. Здається що хатки, вкриті товстим шаром снігу, також у зимовій сплячці!
