Today I want to share with you a portrait of my CLASSIC CAR/ MINI when I still lived in a little casita in the mountains of Iznรกjar, Coradoba Spain ๐ช๐ธ
Shortly after I moved alone to Spainโฆ and did this while driving in my classic mini from the Netherlands ๐ณ๐ฑ all the way to the south ๐ช๐ธ
These photos are taken with my (late, as in died in Cuba) Canon eos 550D with 18 - 135 mm lens
It was a beautiful #spring #evening, THE SUN WAS SETTINGโฆ ๐ on 29 March 2015.
When I saw the light was turning into pink, I grabbed my #camera and went outside. Walking up the steep hill next to the #casita I saw a #reflection on my mini.
So I walked further up until I was on the road.
I captured this close up of the #PINK and #BLUE #colours of the #sunset ๐ฅฐ in the front window.
Walking a bit furtherโฆ the lonely roadโฆ
This was a mountain road and I would see maybe 3 cars in a week passing by. It was remoteโฆ just the way I like it ๐
Yes, my car still had the Dutch number plates hereโฆ it took me a while to get the Spanish plates ๐ค
The beautiful sunset colours are getting more intenseโฆ slowlyโฆ
I capture some surrounding views ๐
My car again ๐ฅฐ I loved this little carโฆ I owned it 12 years an this was my 4th CLASSIC MINI.
Hope this will do @joetunex for some sunset captures, as I still havenโt had the time to go out hereโฆ ๐ late at night.

With some lonely treesโฆ the colours of this evening stayed with me in my memories. It was such a pink and blue skyโฆ #breathtakingly #stunning ๐ฅฐ

I love the golden hour skylight, Jackie, it is lovely and cool to the eyes, just like you I would have grabbed my camera and gotten the photograph thing going. This surely does it for a sunset post lol.
You are the remote, lol nice spot out there, hope the mountains didn't give you problems with network coverage.

Moments like these are so preciousโฆ the most beautiful things nature can show us. And I sure will enjoy them ๐ฅฐ

I like remoteโฆ hehe somehow I end up like that. The internet I had back then was very poor. Somedays I couldnโt work because no connection.
Now years later, I am so happy with my Starlink it helps in such situations.
Will have a look if I have more sunset photosโฆ I love them, so why not post some.

Yes, it is common for places surrounded by mountains to have poor network coverage, I thought as much.
Oh, some heavy downpour maybe, perhaps you guys can do with some rain.

Yes, the mountains. But also not many towns around, let alone citiesโฆ so not many peopleโฆ they tend to not service those remote areas.
I donโt think Ireland has rain shortage. It is so lush and green hereโฆ almost 40 shades of green ๐

It might rain here today, it has been 2 days without rain, so it is likely to rain, I think is is about a 60% chance of rain when I checked a day ago.
Hehehe it does look pretty around here. Canโt wait to go and explore further away.

But here tooโฆ most of the next 10 days the weather app says rain ๐ง๏ธ
I can imagine the feeling of wanting the go and explore, am sure you will be doing that soon with photos to share for us to see.
So most likely out of that 10 days it might you guys might get rain for about 5 days. Weather apps are like those predicting the price of Bitcoin, they are rarely correct, it tells me there will be rain in the morning today, no rain yet.
I have a little Nissan EV Leaf performs great so far, no Vroom vroom of course.
My neighbour has a similat Mini, different year.
Thatโs cool, also a cute little car.
Does he have a new mini or also the classic one.
This mini is from 1990. I also had one from 1984, 1995 and the last classic built in 2000.

i have been driving in a mini once back in 1989 i think ,i had to drive it to a garage for a friend , but i wouldn't buy one myself , i prefer more space around me while driving . I do like the sunset colours . have a great weekend Jackie

Pink skies are amazing. We get them here in Thailand but I'd never seen them so pink back home.
Now you're getting settled, you could get another 'proper' Mini. One with the steering wheel on the correct side of the car lol :-)
They areโฆ I have seen them a few times in the Netherlands and Spain. Will keep an eye out for them hereโฆ who knows, maybe ๐

Sunsets like these remind me of my childhood, with my grandparents we loved to sit and see the different shades of the sky as night fell
