Hi all 😊
With this post I want to show you some of my favourite back garden/ Landscape photographs I shot during January 2018 when I was living in the mountains of Sayalonga Spain. The mountains in the distance were covered in Snow and it was such a pretty view. (Photos taken with my Canon eos 550D)
My Classic Mini couldn’t be missed in a photo of course 😉😎🥰
Let’s look around us in the garden and see the views in the distance.
Let’s zoom in a little… La Maroma mountain. 2068 meters high. Highest point in the Málaga province.
De mountain range from Tejeda, Almijara and Alhama.
A little bit closer…
Let’s look further.
Little areas of the garden and the flowers and plants in it. Lets look through the arch.
Still some beautiful flowers in January
The Bird of Paradise, one of my favourite flowers.
With the snowy mountains in the distance.
I want to finish this selection of views… with this photo.
Hope you enjoyed my little selection of back garden views / Landscape photographs. 😊

Your Classic Mini absolutely stole the first photo :)) 😍
But then zoom and voila, snow is here :)) Super feeling when we can walk almost in short sleeves and being in sun and seeing the top of the mountains covered with snow. That is how we some years receive the sight of snow too, on the peaks of the mountain from my mushrooms post (two days ago), there is snow some years, but it lasts just for a few days, as when the Spanish sun in ON, no snow that stays... yeah, we (oh, better say just me in this case 😂 ) rambling again about snow and how we miss it :D
Thank you so much @mipiano 😊 miss my little mini…
Think it was the last year (January 2018) I saw snow where I lived at that time. Now along the coast further towards Gibraltar, no snow anywhere. And if it would snow, it’s gone sooooooo quickly lol ☀️☀️
Yep… me too, still miss the snow and seasons 😉 we are allowed to miss it.
Good we can make our own rules hehehe :)
So, let's miss snow to the extent it is still healthy longing, and when we see we miss it too much, then we should have a swim in the sea during the winter, and then wishing heat and sun haahaha :)))))
Yes, @mipiano our own rules 😁
Nope…. Not jumping in the sea hahahahaha 🤣🥶🥶 don’t miss it THAT much… lol
Wished we could travel safely again. Then we can ease our cravings… go to the snow ⛄️
Last winter, I did enter the sea, but just feet. Have some photos here, but, I would have to scroll one year back hahaha
I have a Dutch friend, who every single day, no matter if winter, spring, summer, or autumn, swims in the morning in the sea and later meditates by the shore. He is just a great person and living a healthy lifestyle. Lot older than we are but I assure you, his health condition is probably better than mine!
I know what you mean…. Just scrolling back a year in the photo list… it takes quite some time. I take always photos when we are out and about. So lots and lots of photos 😉
Not sure if I even would try a toe 🤣🤣🤣
They say it is very healthy. I read about and saw some documentaries about a Dutch man, Wim Hof, who invented a special program. A special way of breathing that allows him to be a long time in icy water. He says it build up the immune system stronger. He is beyond fit and healthy. He goes around the world to teach people his methods. Worth reading/ researching.
I scrolled a bit hahahah and found the post where it was documented. Later, the person I tagged there made his part of the challenge too in Italy :D
Yes, Wim Hof, husband amazed with him, and also a few others hive mentioned his technique. Really awesome what a human body can achieve, if you guide it well with you mind.
nice
Thank you @editmar 😊
