Today I have decided to participate in the contest carried out by @friendlymoose with the theme wood, in the past I did not have time to participate so I hurried this time not to miss the opportunity, if you would like to join and show us shots related to this topic by here I leave you the post of the rules.
I made the first image of a tree trunk, I tried to capture only part of the throne and the background, I loved its bark has so many reliefs which create a great contrast in the shots.
I made the following two images of another trunk but this one was already lifeless and was at ground level so the shots are different as well as showing the two sides of the bark on the outside, where its most pronounced reliefs can be seen and the inside where there is a little more softness and smoothness.
In this pair of photographs I captured a trunk without bark here you can see the ravages that different pests have left on the trunk the marks on it are due to a worm which enters between the bark and the trunk and slides leaving those scars , in addition to observing what the termites have caused by devouring them, since tiny shavings of sawdust left by them are also observed. The shot from the right side shows the part of the sawn trunk in which we can see the distinctive saw marks and the signs that there is no trace of life in it.
In the final photograph you can see a trunk with great reliefs on its gray bark but you can also see how a part of it was removed, the different shades of the wood make this detail very visible.
excelentes imagenes
It was incredible. I think the wood has strong fibers so the relief is very clear. 😊
I love wood Lourdes and these are awesome. I love to take photographs of trees, so I might enter this too. Have a wonderful week 😁😁😁
Welcome to the #POBphotocontest
Nice submission for this rounds subject.
Great photos and good luck in the contest!
The beauty of tree bark often goes unnoticed. I find it fascinating. The older a tree gets the more unique and interesting it become. Some great shots:)
