He must have known that you weren't a threat, which is cool. I think he may have been eating that same leaf that he was sitting on. If you look on the top right and bottom right.. there's little pieces which kinda look like it's been nibbled on?..

You might be right as those look like fresh marks. I was thinking maybe they eat small insects but who knows, maybe they eat both.
I don't what it is tbh - I probs need to brush up on my insects lmao. From what I've just read.. a locust would eat plant material, a praying mantis would eat insects.. whatever the little creature is, it's looks dope.
