A few days ago, I had the honor of working as a photographer for a girl who was turning 15. As is tradition in Latin America, her family made her a traditional quinceañera party!
I coordinated everything with the birthday girl's mom and she told me to arrive at a specific time when everyone was free so I could photograph the girl with all the party decorations. So, I started by taking a couple of portraits of the star of the night, the quinceañera!
Hace unos dias tuve el honor de trabajar como fotografo para una chica que estaba cumpliendo 15 años de edad y como es tradicion en latinoamerica, su familia le celebró la tradicional fiesta de quinceaños!
Yo estuve coordinando todo con la mama de la cumpleañera y ella me dijo que llegara a cierta hora cuando todos estuvieran desocupados y así poder fotografiar a la chica con toda la decoración de la fiesta, así que comencé primero haciendo un par de retratos con la estrella de la noche, la quinceañera!
For all these photos, I used my Canon RP camera and a 24-105mm f/4 lens. Since it was night, I had to use my speedlite flash with a 50cm octabox.
I played around with the background and tried different angles to get the best possible shot.
Para todas estas fotos utilicé mi camara Canon RP y un lente 24-105mm a 4/f y como era de noche tuve que utilizar mi flas speed lite con un octabox de 50 cm.
Jugué con el fondo y probé diferentes angulos buscando la mejor foto posible.
I saw that they had some glasses as decorative elements and the girl came up with the idea of putting them on for a more fun photo!
Vi que tenian unos lentes como elementos decorativos y a la chica se le ocurrió la idea de ponerselos para hacer una foto mas divertida!
We explored different areas of the venue to create variety in the photographs:

Once we were satisfied with the portraits of the quinceañera, I started photographing her with her family:
Una vez que nos sentimos satisfechos con los retratos de la quinceañera empecé a fotografiarla junto a sus familiares:
And to finish, I'll leave you with these two photos that I really liked because of the framing in a white door surrounded by beautiful nature (vines)!
