Those are the words I live by when it comes to sunsets. I have been chasing sunsets ever since I had my first camera when I was 11 years old. I was always on the look out between 5pm to 6pm just to witness the birth of a sunset. I have always been fascinated with sunsets because it makes me feel that the skies are somehow...alive.
We are so lucky to live in a time where we can capture these kind of beautiful sights thru our cameras and encapsulate the moment. So I hope you guys enjoy my collection of sunsets.
This was taken in a private beach that my grandma owns in Toledo Cebu, Philippines (Southern part of Cebu) This was a challenging photo to take because I used a tripod. The sunset was soooo beautiful and thought to myself that I should also be in the photo with my sister witnessing such a warm sunset.
So this happens to be my favorite. I took this photo when we went on a mountain climbing expedition with my family. So we were on top of the mountain, the view was so breathtaking and we were so lucky because the sunset was right in front of us. It was a rare moment seeing a light of ray peeping thru the small gaps of clouds. The light was so striking and dramatic. I somehow find this photo symbolic, because it reminded me that there is always light in the growing darkness. Ew, I deeply apologize for making it sound corny >.<' but that was what I felt at that time.
Photographed this one outside my office in Cebu North Reclamation Area. It was really a tiring day at work, and I just can't wait to end my shift. And soon as I went outside, I was greeted by this beautiful view. It was a sight of relief that my work related stress disappeared in a snap. I just felt like the sunset spoke to me and said "Hey, you're going to be okay."
This is a view from my bedroom. The color and composition of the sunset keeps on changing everyday. But it always feels familiar and romantic.
We, human beings, are unique in soooo many ways. We have different point of views in life, we have different religions, we say different languages and hold on to different beliefs. But the magic of sunsets is that it is EQUALLY enjoyed by ALL.
