Many years ago, when I lived in the USA, I used to have an ebay account with high rep and tons of sales. A friend of mine who was really struggling, tells me he could use my help to sell some of his old camera equipment.
Me being completely ignorant of the subject, ask him how much he expects to get from it, he says: For the cheap lens... maybe 600 bucks at least.
Cheap? - I said... What do you mean cheap? 600 bucks is cheap?
He then, proceeded to explain to me the world of cameras. I paid attention, I really did, but retained little in the way of brands and collectibles.
I think these days, more so because I have some background information on this whole thing. I appreciate very much people who take the time to capture the magic, more so than the people who get really good at polishing it up afterwards.
There's a certain rawness to these pictures that pay tribute to a decade or even two ago..
Funny thing... I always forget how pretty the banana flower can be, and I eat those darn things every single day.
Thanks, yeah I guess its my default even with colours!
But without getting it right on the spot it will just be a mess yes, or some lifeless, pixel perfect meh thing.
We used to do pixel perfect in the agency of course, but with this new workflow I've made seemingly imperfections to a feature ;-)
