Rainy Sunday occupation. 😄 I started flipping through this book last night but had to continue today; I do like to look at pretty pictures in coffee-table books, who needs heavy reading anyway??
Joined by my peach jam pastry and mint tea, all on the floor. Unfortunately, not joined by cats who prefer the bourgeois couch.
A fun fact: a copy of this exact book was given by King Mohammed VI to President Barack Obama.
Pretty pictures aside, one thing I read really stayed with me. It spoke to something I feel deeply: I care about my place, my space, my home. I think everyone deserves their own. It’s the minimum level of peace and grounding most humans need to have a chance at a less chaotic, mind-crushing life
I also got excited when my favorite means of transportation made a cameo. Meanwhile, Kami preferred the Asian Elements book, and I ended the journey with a glimpse at minimalist style, which, to me, I’m sorry, is just awful 😂
